About the Opportunity:

The Devops Engineer is responsible for maintaining and evolving the pipelines used for the Docebo Learn release, as well as developing internal tools to manage the multi-tenant infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring smooth, frequent releases and supporting development teams in optimizing their CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will work closely with development and engineering teams to streamline the deployment process and manage cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Primary responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Improve deployment pipelines to support frequent, seamless software releases.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools to simplify the management of Docebo’s multi-tenant infrastructure.
  • Support development teams in setting up and improving their CI/CD pipelines, enhancing overall system efficiency.
  • Lead infrastructure and development projects aimed at optimizing system performance and processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues to minimize disruptions and ensure system stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and engineering, to continuously improve development workflows.
  • Stay current with industry trends to identify and implement new tools and technologies that enhance performance and scalability.

What it takes to be successful:

To succeed in this role, a Devops Engineer should possess strong problem-solving abilities, a deep understanding of cloud services and containerization, and a proactive approach to improving deployment processes. Effective collaboration with development and engineering teams is essential, along with the ability to manage complex projects. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field provides a solid foundation for the technical demands of the role.

Education and Experience:

  • Typically 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Go preferred).
  • Strong expertise in Linux-based systems.
  • Hands-on experience with container systems (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in cloud services, especially AWS.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitLab, Jenkins) and concepts.
  • Familiar with Git for version control and automation processes.
  • DevOps mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Compensation

CA$113.7K – CA$151.6K

This range represents our target hiring range for this position in Canada.

In addition to base pay: This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus incentive. Payouts are based on individual and company performance and are not guaranteed.
