Responsibilities:

Development Tooling & Automation:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable build and packaging systems (e.g., using technologies like CMake and Conan).
  • Develop and support tools, plugins, and extensions for IDEs (e.g., VS Code) to improve developer workflows.
  • Automate various aspects of the development, build, and release processes.

CI/CD and Infrastructure:

  • Administer and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins or similar tools).
  • Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs to support the development infrastructure.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the reliability of the development toolchain.

Innovation and Support:

  • Collaborate with software teams to identify pain points and deliver effective tooling solutions.
  • Investigate and integrate modern technologies, including AI-based approaches, to innovate and improve development processes.
  • Provide documentation and support to engineering teams for all managed tools and systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development environment.

Education/Training:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Professional Experience:

1-3 years in software or tooling engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.

Proven experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Groovy).

Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile principles.
