About the Role: Senior Siebel Developer - Experienced technical professional responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle Siebel CRM applications. The role combines deep hands-on Siebel expertise with solution design, integrations, performance optimisation, and mentoring responsibilities. Senior Siebel Developers typically work closely with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and integration partners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality CRM solutions across complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

Siebel Application Development & Configuration

  • Design and implement Siebel configurations, including Business Components, Applets, Views, Links, Joins, MVGs, Picklists, and User Properties.
  • Develop and enhance Siebel Workflows, Business Services, and Siebel eScript to support complex business processes.
  • Customise and extend Siebel Open UI using JavaScript, PR files, HTML, and CSS for improved user experience.

Integration & Data Management

  • Design and build integrations using Siebel EAI, REST/SOAP Web Services, XML/XSLT, and Integration Objects.
  • Support inbound and outbound integrations with external systems and legacy platforms.
  • Perform data migration and synchronisation using Siebel EIM and SQL-based validation techniques.

Upgrades, Modernisation & Release Management

  • Lead or contribute to Siebel upgrades, patching, and IP migrations (e.g., 8.x to IP versions).
  • Work with Siebel Workspaces, version control, and release processes to deliver controlled deployments.

Performance, Support & Troubleshooting

  • Analyse and resolve complex production issues (L2/L3/L4), including workflow failures, integration errors, and data inconsistencies.
  • Optimise SQL queries and Siebel configurations to improve system performance and scalability.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, including HLDs, LLDs, and Technical Design documents.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, QA, infrastructure, and external vendors to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and code reviews.

Qualifications:

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Siebel CRM (Configuration, Workflows, eScript).
  • Expertise in Siebel EAI, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Integration Objects, XML/XSLT.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience with Oracle Database.
  • Experience with Siebel Open UI customisation.

Additional / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Siebel upgrades, cloud migrations, or modernisation initiatives.
  • Exposure to DevOps, automation, monitoring, or reporting tools.

Experience Level: Typically 6 –12+ years of relevant experience in Siebel CRM development and enterprise delivery.
