Embla Medical (Össur) is looking for an ambitious individual to participate in the design, execution and management of backend services.

The person in question must have experience in API design, system integrations, and be resourceful and solution oriented.

We are looking for an individual who wants to be involved in the transformation of Embla's technical landscape, where we aim to make our environment simpler, more service enabled and move into Azure cloud solutions. This entails exciting and diverse projects in a progressive and challenging technical environment.

We offer flexible working hours and possibilities for remote working.

Field of work

• Design and development of .NET backend services and integrations
• Participate in shaping the future system landscape and supporting the company's cloud first strategy
• Participation in international projects
• Management of consultants and contractors
• Collaborations with Embla Medicals business units around the world
• Full participation in shaping a strong team of experts and culture of that team

Requirements

• Experience designing and developing software and services in .NET/C#
• Knowledge in: .NET Web API, Azure and/or other cloud platforms, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, MSSQL
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ambitious and solution oriented
• Solid communication skills and good English proficiency
• University degree or experience that is applicable to the job

Hæfniskröfur

• Reynsla af hönnun og þróun hugbúnaðar í .NET/C#
• Þekking á: .NET Web API, Azure and/or other cloud platforms, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, MSSQL
• Geta til að vinna sjálfstætt sem og í teymi
• Metnaður og lausnamiðuð nálgun
• Góð samskiptahæfni og góð enskukunnátta
