This Per Diem Youth Apprenticeship -Radiology Aide is a Per Diem at Beloit Health System located in Beloit, WI. The Youth Apprentice will be involved in day-to-day tasks to support healthcare professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the overall patient care experience.

This Youth Apprenticeship -Radiology Aide will apply infection prevention controls, standard precautions and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, provide patient care, setup diagnostic areas, assist in preparing patients for imaging exams, apply radiation safety and protection principles, assist with patient positioning, clean and restock rooms, transport patients, and maintain inventory.

Qualifications

• Must be a current High School Student, 16 years of age or older
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment
• Basic understanding of medical terminology helpful
