We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer (Angular/React) - AVP who will play a pivotal role in integrating and leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) focused tools and technologies into our enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance applications, with a keen focus on front-end development using modern frameworks like Angular or React, and back-end integration with GenAI services, utilizing strong expertise in Oracle and MongoDB database technologies. This role requires a strong foundation in Java ecosystems, microservices architecture, and hands-on experience in building user-friendly interfaces that interact seamlessly with AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and implementation of complex Java-based applications, including integrating and consuming Generative AI capabilities.
• Build scalable microservices and APIs using Java frameworks that connect to and utilize various GenAI models and platforms.
• Develop dynamic and responsive front-end applications using Angular or React to interact with AI-powered backends and present AI-generated content.
• Collaborate with AI specialists, data scientists, and product managers to understand GenAI capabilities and integrate them effectively into user-facing applications.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, considering the interaction with GenAI services.
• Design, implement, and maintain database schemas and data access layers with extensive experience in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) and MongoDB.
• Develop and maintain robust data integration points and infrastructure to support the consumption of GenAI outputs and inputs.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code quality, security, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and technologies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Java, front-end technologies, cloud computing, and the practical application of Generative AI tools to proactively identify and implement new solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full-stack application.

Qualifications

• 5-8 + years of professional experience in software development, with a significant portion focused on Java 11.
• Proven experience designing and building large-scale, distributed systems and microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in modern front-end development, specifically with Angular or React.
• Strong proficiency in database technologies, with significant hands-on experience in Oracle and MongoDB. This includes schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning for both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with consuming and integrating Generative AI services and tools (e.g., using LLMs via APIs, leveraging GenAI for content creation, data synthesis, or intelligent automation).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their relevant services.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Languages: Java (Java 8+, Spring Boot), TypeScript/JavaScript, PL/SQL
• Front-end Frameworks: Angular, React
• Back-end Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs
• GenAI Integration: Experience with APIs of LLMs or other GenAI services (e.g., OpenAI API, Hugging Face APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex for integration)
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP (certification is a plus)
• Databases: Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL), MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis
• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven/Gradle
• Tools: Git, Jira, Confluence, Slack

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
