Senior Account Executive, Major Accounts - Quickbooks

Intuit

Job Overview

Intuit is a global financial technology platform designed to power prosperity for consumers and small businesses. Although we are a Silicon Valley giant with 100 million customers and 18,000 employees, we remain one of the best-kept secrets in tech: a rapidly growing, AI-first organisation that still moves with the agility of a disruptor.

By placing strategic bets on AI, we are redefining how 100+ markets manage their finances. We serve customers with our unified AI-platform where everything is one place for our customers to run and grow their business, managing everything from lead to cash, with a virtual team of AI enabled agents and human experts, ensuring that every financial decision that they make, they make it with confidence.

The Opportunity - Senior Account Executive, Major Accounts

We are seeking a foundational team member to join our EMEA Major Accounts team. This is a high-impact, individual contributor (IC) role focused on the top tier of the accounting firms.

You will target a strategic portfolio of c.25 of the largest, multi-entity accounting firms in EMEA. This is a "land and expand" mission: you will lead the initial outbound charge to win these enterprise-level partnerships, then pivot to retain and scale them, ensuring QuickBooks becomes their core ecosystem.

Why Join Us in This Role?

This is a rare opportunity to be a foundational architect of our Major Accounts function in EMEA. You aren’t just inheriting a territory; you are defining the blueprint for how Intuit wins at the enterprise level. Because this is a high-visibility mission, you will have the autonomy of a startup founder backed by the resources and AI-engine of a global leader who continues to launch new products. For a Senior Account Executive, this role offers a career-defining platform to modernise the largest firms in the region.

Our Sales Philosophy - Consultative, Not Transactional

At Intuit, our customer success is our North Star. Our sales organisation isn't just about closing deals; we are problem solvers and strategic consultants. We help our partners move away from a patchwork of disconnected tools towards a unified, end-to-end platform. By integrating QuickBooks and Mailchimp, we provide a ‘lead-to-cash’ solution powered by AI-enabled agents and human expertise. Your mission is to ensure that every financial decision our partners and their clients make is made with absolute confidence.

Note: Travel will be required for client facing meetings and events along with internal offsite meetings. We come together in our Victoria, London, office 3 days a week as part of our hybrid working policy.

Responsibilities

  • Market Mapping & Strategy: Systematically map the EMEA major account landscape to identify key decision-makers and influencers within complex, multi-entity firms.
  • Strategic Outbound Growth: Execute a "hunter" motion to penetrate high-value firms, utilising outbound techniques and industry intelligence to build a high-value pipeline.
  • Full-Cycle Ownership: Lead the end-to-end sales process—from initial cold outreach and stakeholder alignment to complex contract negotiation and closing.
  • Land & Expand Execution: Once an account is won, you will lead the retention and expansion strategy, identifying opportunities to scale revenue through deeper ecosystem integration.
  • Executive Influence: Facilitate senior-level engagements, positioning bold, high-ROI propositions that solve the most pressing business problems for C-suite stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Act as the "internal CEO" for your accounts, aligning cross-functional teams in Marketing, Product, and Success to deliver a joint strategic plan.

Qualifications

  • Strategic Accounts Experience: 10+ years of sales experience, with 5+ years specifically in Enterprise, Strategic, or Major Accounts selling multi-product SaaS solutions, ideally in Accounting, ERP, or Fintech. Hitting and exceeding your revenue goals.
  • Complex Sales Mastery: Proven ability to navigate multi-entity firms, build consensus across disparate business units, and close complex, high-value deals.
  • Strategic Hunter Mentality: A track record of building a territory from scratch through rigorous outbound prospecting and market sector intelligence.
  • Value-Based Selling: Expert in methodologies such as Challenger, Sandler, or MEDDICC, with the ability to sell business outcomes over features.
  • Commercial Rigour: Disciplined use of tools and data to map accounts, forecast accurately, and manage the "lead-to-cash" lifecycle.
  • SaaS/Fintech Domain: Deep understanding of SaaS and/or Fintech (ideally ERP/Accounting) trends, competitive landscape, and GTM motions.
  • Matrix Influence: Exceptional "boundaryless" leader capable of collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Success to drive scale.
  • Industry Authority: A credible voice in the EMEA market, experienced in influencing C-suite stakeholders and the industry experts.
