What you'll be doing:
Data and Business Intelligence sits within Boots UK IT division and is responsible for the enterprise Data Platform and Business Intelligence Reports. We are currently moving these reports to use Azure, Databricks and Power BI. Data is power across many areas of the business such as Stores, POS/EPOS sales, HR, Finance, Commercial and more and within this team, you will get the opportunity to work and support across all areas of the business. giving you an excellent opportunity to work on a wide span of data.
Key responsibilities:
As an Analytics Engineer you will report to the Analytics Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining and modelling the data that underpins our reports, proving it's accuracy, and working with our report developers to make sure that it's fit for purpose, while also maintaining aspects of our legacy data systems until we have completely moved to Databricks and Power BI. Our reports have thousands of daily users and so maintaining efficient performance is key.
You will also work with other parts of the business to understand and unlock the full potential of Boots' data.
