Salary: $17-20/ hour
Express is looking for a Quality Control Technician for a position in Export in a
Warehouse & manufacturing environment!
Job Duties:
- Perform Receiving Inspections of material and components received from suppliers as assigned by the QC Manager and document the results of those inspections
- Provide product approval/rejection as appropriate and document the inspection and test results.
- Perform materials/component testing as assigned by the QC Manager and document the results of those tests.
- Maintain an awareness of the applicable regulatory requirements and/or guidelines for products
- Performs additional duties and functions as assigned/required by the QC Manager.
Qualifications:
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs - More frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand & sit for long periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Fine manual dexterity
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, documents- REQUIRED
- High School / Technical School with at least 4 years in a manufacturing or quality control function. REQUIRED
- Experience with torque wrenches, calipers, alligator clips, pushing, pulling, and turning of power control knobs, air pressure valves, installing small screws, and applying inspection labels, and other testing equipment a PLUS!!!!
