Title: RF Test Development Engineer

We are recruiting for a RF Test Development Engineer to join Qorvo’s High Performance Analog (HPA). The incumbent will provide support to the Test Engineering Group to continuously improve our test measurement capabilities and capacity.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and integrate software solutions to support RF characterization from DC to mmW frequencies
• Support product characterization during product development phase
• Contribute to the test engineering roadmap
• Expand our existing test automation framework and test coverage
• Implement and contribute to SQA
• Ability to support test station setup, troubleshooting, maintenance
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to support engineering test development projects
• Implement methodology to support testing earlier into the software development process
• Create test software documentations, procedures, and reports
• Support design validation testing of various RF functions
• Contribute to SQL database development

Technical Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing required
• Proficient with API development for test automation
• Load Pull measurement knowledges is a plus
• Proficient in automated test including design, development, and maintenance
• Highly knowledgeable with Python, C++, C# programming languages
• Knowledgeable in TCP/IP, GPIB, IEEE 488.2, I2C, serial communications
• In depth knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Operate independently with minimal supervision

Required Education & Experience:

• MSc degree (or greater) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Position Location: Richardson, Texas
