We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Full‑stack Developer to join our team and support key initiatives for the New York Lottery digital ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is comfortable working across both front‑end and back‑end systems.

As a Senior Full‑stack Developer, you will build and maintain Node.js web services and integrations within Amazon Web Services (AWS). You'll also support multiple React applications, including a Single‑Sign‑On (SSO) platform that incorporates identity verification. Your work may also extend to the New York Lottery website and mobile application.

This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be able to collaborate effectively with a New York-based team.

WORKSITE: Remote- Open to New York residents

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, standard business hours

ANTICIPATED START DATE: immediate -contract position through July 2026 with potential to extend into 2027

PAY RATE: $80-$85 Per Hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Node.js services and serverless functions within AWS
• Build and enhance React applications, including SSO and identity verification workflows
• Integrate with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and Cognito
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑performing solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long‑term improvements
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for full‑stack development
• Support mobile and web initiatives for the New York Lottery digital platforms

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
• React, Redux, Styled Components, React Provider Pattern
• Node.js and serverless development
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services:
• API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Cognito
• Experience with identity verification tools (e.g., ID Dataweb) is a plus
• Familiarity with Ionic Framework is beneficial
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and authentication flows
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
