This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract (possible extension/ conversion)

Location: Merrimack, New Hampshire (Hybrid-2 weeks onsite per month/ alternate weeks, rest remote)

Salary: Up to $125,000/Annually or $65.00/Hourly

Role: Mainframe Developer

Primary Skills: Mainframe, COBOL

Role Description: The Mainframe Developer must have 4+ years of experience.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Proven expertise with mainframe technologies and working knowledge of distributed systems.
• Solid hands-on development skills in mainframe languages and technologies (Cobol, CICS, VSAM, JCL, utilities, FileAid, Endevor, debuggers, schedulers, etc.).
• Proficiency with the DB2 database management system and database processing concepts.
• Extensive experience in SQL language.
• Deploy and support software releases into production environments.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with the overall testing process.
• Any knowledge or experience in distributed technologies, cloud computing, and/or Java programming is a plus.
• Specific Certifications: Relevant certifications in mainframe and distributed technologies are desirable.
• Skills: Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to successfully implement complex solutions in a dynamic environment.

Most roles at the Organization are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in the office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
