Position Summary: Project Coordinator

Seeking a highly experienced and talented Project Coordinator with a high aptitude for Clinical Trial Execution. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to engage across multiple functions and effectively communicate with team members across multidisciplinary teams while prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will be thoughtful, flexible, creative, solution oriented, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Reports to the Vice-President, Clinical Operations and works to provide operational support across the Clinical Operations department
  • Initiate, develop and advance key Clinical Operations initiatives in order to support optimal execution of all clinical programs
  • Accountable for maintaining up to date information across multiple programs in key systems and dashboards
  • Responsible for collating data across key programs in order to support the team in proactively mitigating risks on the ongoing clinical trials
  • Support planning, scheduling and logistics for internal and external meetings and preparation of agendas, meetings and meeting minutes.
  • The Project Coordinator is a key member of Clinical Operations leadership team and will closely partner with internal stakeholders, CROs, vendors and other functional lines in order to support delivery of trials according to plans and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical research, regulatory affairs, data management, and medical affairs, to ensure seamless coordination and integrations of activities.
  • Support planning and logistics for clinical trial activities
  • Preparation, review, and maintenance of multiple clinical trial trackers and documents
  • Supports project risk analysis and develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.
  • Ensures that Clinical Operations department effectively interfaces with key functional groups
  • Partner in the development and presentation of clinical operations updates to senior/executive leadership.
  • Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and supporting the Clin Ops team with implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Scientific / Health care field
  • Minimum of 2 or more years of working in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Proactive and positive management approach
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement process improvements
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compliance-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and patient safety
  • Establish and nurture highly effective relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders that support and advance trial team goals and objectives
  • Display a high level of professionalism with internal and external stakeholders
