Mountain Engineering is seeking experienced candidates to support PG&E's Routine Vegetation Programs in San Francisco, CA. The Senior Database Management Specialist will be responsible for working with PG&E staff as well as other stakeholders to produce products derived from an array of databases and software programs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • A SDM is responsible to supervise and train DMS staff.
  • Design alternative workflows as necessary to support new procedures.
  • Design and produce new reports based on PG&E VM Representative’s direction.
  • Work with SVMI’s, PG&E VM Representative and tree contractor to develop annual circuit plan and schedules.
  • Manage data input and output according to schedules and priorities set by PG&E’s PG&E VM Representative and to provide technical support to designated PG&E operations.
  • The SDM also provides training, direct supervision, communication, and operational management for the DMS staff in their designated area as well as throughout various locations within PG&E as directed by the PG&E VM Representative.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A SDM shall have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with computers, office equipment and data entry equipment.
  • Must have prior DMS experience.
  • All required equipment will be provided by Mountain Engineering
  • Sitting for long periods of time working at the computer. Travel may be required.
  • One VM experience is preferred.
