Senior Software Architect

Location: Onsite, 5 days/week at St. Paul, MN

What You’ll Do

• Co-lead project discovery and delivery with other technologists
• Work closely with software teams to design, build, test, and run scalable solutions using agile methods
• Help define implementation plans, solution designs, and engineering standards aligned to the product roadmap
• Write high-quality code using modern technologies, frameworks, GenAI tools, and cloud platforms
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers
• Test and validate software using unit and integration testing practices
• Build scripts and automation to support and maintain production systems
• Share knowledge and contribute to best practices and thought leadership across the team

What You’ll Bring

You leverage proficiency in developing full-stack solutions across a range of established and emerging technologies including:

• Front end applications and modern web platforms using React, Vue and/or Typescript.
• APIs and back-end services built using emerging frameworks and architectural patterns using Python, NestJS and Rust.
• Hosting, Generative AI, and application services provided by industry leading cloud providers using AWS/GCP, familiarity with Terraform, AWS CDK, etc.
• Experience using generative AI tooling in your own SDLC practice including Github Copilot, Cursor and similar tools.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the pay range is $46/HR to $76/HR. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
