Job Description

Target PR Range: 43-53/hr DOE

Summary:

This manufacturing engineering role will be responsible for planning and executing the move of commercial and NPD metals manufacturing lines into a new facility to align with future growth needs of the metals operation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the line movement workstream of the metals facility move project as the technical project lead
  • Develop and execute a process validation plan including IQ/OQ/PQ for manufacturing equipment as well as facilities utilities equipment
  • Create robust shutdown & startup procedures to ensure minimal disruption to metals production & continued supply of critical components
  • Liason with external suppliers for movement, calibration, and other activities as needed associated with the new facility
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners such as quality, project management, facilities, operations, supply chain, and other groups to ensure requirements are met & production delivery is maintained
  • Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.

Skills:

  • Equipment & Process Validation Experience
  • Team player and detail oriented.
  • Project management/project leadership experience
  • Experience with highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • 5-7 years experience required.
