Machinist

A leader in environmentally conscious packaging innovation is looking for a Machinist to join their team.

What you’ll be doing as the Machinist

• Operate Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, CNC Mills, Industrial Saws, and Surface Grinders to fabricate custom packaging machinery components (NC, RMX, KMX)
• Program X, Y, and Z axes; set up machinery, tooling, and cut raw stock to specifications
• Fabricate parts from blueprints using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Assemble machinery components and perform occasional TIG welding on stainless steel

What we look for in a Machinist

• 1-2 years of experience with manual Lathes and Mills, and CNC Mills required
• Experience with NC, RMX and KMX machines preferred
• Experience TIG welding on stainless steel a plus
• High School diploma or equivalent

Additional information for the Machinist

• $20 hourly
• Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

o Mandatory overtime as needed

• Saline, MI 48176
