Slitter Operator - 1st and 2nd Shift

Salary: $18 - $20/hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Slitter Operator for a client in Woodville, Wisconsin! As a Slitter Operator, this candidate is responsible for abiding by Good Manufacturing Practices, interpreting and following a production schedule, and setting up for each job order. This position requires machine operation experience and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

1st Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 3:00pm) Friday (6:00am - 12:00pm)

2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday (3:00pm - 1:00am)

Pay: $18 - $20/hr

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interpret and follow production schedule.
• Perform setups for each work order.
• Operate machinery at or above current standards to meet customer specifications.
• Manage and handle materials.
• Provide management with information to aid in process improvement.
• Complete required documentation in adherence with ISO and IATF certifications.
• Perform necessary routine and preventative maintenance as directed.
• Various duties as assigned by supervisor; this includes working in other areas when appropriate.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles and jib crane.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Good eyesight (for visual inspections).
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to successfully utilize and interpret all measuring tools.
• Ability to problem solve.
