Within this global ecosystem, the Tax & Accounting Software Business Unit develops products for tax and accounting professionals. Our BU offers a comprehensive portfolio of software solutions, including ERP systems, as well as accounting, financial, tax advisory, and practice management tools.

To support the digital transformation of our BU, we are looking for a Senior Product Software Engineer to join our team.

You will work with a team located across different countries and are therefor willing to work in an international environment, building and maintaining products for the Belgian accountancy market.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a true agile polyglot developer with a strong interest in several of the following domains:
  • C# .NET
  • Winforms
  • Prepared to learn EBNF (based on Pascal, Basic)
  • Azure DevOps
  • Cloud architecture

Your Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our software products. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Being part of an agile development team that values timely delivery of high-quality software
  • Focusing on one active project while also being involved in new initiatives
  • Learning how the current products are built and being able to add functionalities or solve problems
  • Providing technical/development support for our Customer Support team
  • Developing business logic, designing database interactions, and APIs
  • Understanding the basic principles of testing and test automation
  • Accurately and timely assessing the impact of requirements on technology and applications based on your expertise
  • Challenging requirements and designs and providing constructive input
  • Handling complex architectures and code structures
  • Working closely with the Technical Architect and Product Owner
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
