Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.
Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated Practical Nurse –Licensed to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality care and coordination of nursing services across our programs.

Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.

Department: LDH Pinecrest – Nursing Dept.
Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Detail to Special Duty, Probation, Promotion, Demotion, or Lateral Transfer. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
Career Progression Group: May be filled as a Practical Nurse –Licensed 1, 2, or 3, depending on the level of experience.
Work Schedule: Day Shift: 5:30 – 6 PM / Night Shift: 5:30 PM – 6 AM / Part-Time Shifts are available
Compensation - Depends on Qualifications
This position has a SER (Special Entrance Rate):
Practical Nurse –Licensed 1 $19.48hr. - $25.44hr.
Practical Nurse –Licensed 2 $20.84hr. - $27.22hr.
Practical Nurse –Licensed 3 $22.30 hr.. - $29.13hr.
This position receives premium pay of $ 10.00 per hour. This position also receives Shift Differential, Longevity Pay, and Additional pay options.
