Program Overview
The UC San Diego CalTeach Program in Science and Mathematics prepares undergraduates to become secondary math and science teachers—especially for high-needs schools. Hallmarks of the program include:
Position Summary
We seek a Program Director with expertise in curriculum, pedagogy, and current research in math or science education. The Director will bring a strong commitment to CalTeach and a forward-looking vision that advances the program while honoring its mission.
This role requires high-level collaboration with campus administrators, faculty, and local school partners to design, implement, and sustain the CalTeach curriculum and outreach initiatives. The Director will ensure all programmatic approvals, certification requirements, and partnerships are in place to support high-quality program delivery.
