Medical Transportation Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach
Schedule: Swing Shift | Start times may be as early as 4:30 AM
Duration: Short-term contract; assignment length may be up to three weeks (timeline subject to operational needs)
Pay: $23-26/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Transportation Coordinator to support the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of medical professionals, including doctors and nurses. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role serving as the primary point of contact during arrival and departure. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and service-driven, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Check in doctors and nurses upon arrival and direct them to the appropriate shuttle or bus
- Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure accurate routing and on-time departures
- Communicate clearly with drivers, hotel staff, and medical personnel
- Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling or routing issues in real time
- Maintain accurate check-in records and transportation logs
- Provide exceptional customer service while managing a fast-paced environment
- Ensure smooth, safe, and professional transportation operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Well-spoken, professional, and customer service–focused demeanor
- Presentable appearance for a front-facing role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving ability and calm decision-making under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with early morning and swing shift schedules
- Experience in transportation coordination, hospitality, logistics, or customer service preferred
