Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidate must have strong expertise in Core Java to design, develop, and enhance high‑performance backend applications.

Rate Range: $80/hour to $83/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer job responsibilities include:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Core Java and related frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to support high‑performance application components.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across backend services and core modules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance through code improvements and best‑practice implementation.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Core Java development.
• Client requires strong expertise in Core Java for building and enhancing backend application components.
• Client requires proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and deliver high‑quality code within complex backend systems.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $83.00 per hour
