We are currently seeking an Experienced Press Brake Operator for opportunities in St. Louis, MO. What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up and operate legacy or older-model press brake machines to form sheet metal parts to print
- Perform complete machine setups including tooling installation, alignment, bend sequencing, and adjustments
- Select, stage, and maintain precision punches, dies, and specialty tooling
- Read and interpret blueprints, bend prints, work orders, tolerances, and bend notes
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using standard measuring tools
- Adjust for springback, material variation, and tooling wear to maintain quality
- Meet production schedules while minimizing scrap and rework
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of press brake operating experience, including full setup
- Proven experience running and setting up older-model or legacy press brake equipment
- Strong knowledge of press brake tooling and precision setup practices
- Ability to independently verify parts to print and troubleshoot quality issues
- Reliable attendance and strong communication skills
- Safety-focused mindset
