Stand up Forklift Driver/Material Handler Job Summary:

A furniture manufacturer in the Kentwood area has a full-time job opportunity for an experienced Material Handler to join their shipping team. This is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veteran/Disability Employer

Stand up Forklift Driver/Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Efficiently bring materials to and from the workstations to keep production running
• Selecting inventory
• Operating a hilo, pallet jack or other necessary equipment to pull and move inventory
• Ability to prioritize work
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Assisting with shipping/receiving tasks as needed
• Inventory
• Assist with other tasks as needed

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st shift 5:00am-3:30pm Monday - Friday with overtime as required
• $18.00/HR and up commensurate with experience

Stand up Forklift Driver/Material Handler Qualifications:

• Excellent attendance and be flexible with the work schedule to meet business needs
• 1-2 years of material handling experience
• Hilo experience
• Basic knowledge of shipping
• Able to multitask
• Excellent attention to detail
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for duration of the shift
• Ability to occasionally walk, bend, crouch, kneel
