Sr Linux Systems Engineer

100% ONSITE Washington DC 20006

Long Term Contract- Possible Multi year extension based on performance

Per Federal contract U.S. Citizenship Required

Must be able to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance

Position Requirements:

Linux Administration:

• Required: Experience with design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
• Highly Desired: Experience with Ansible and Terraform for server automation and configuration management.
• Highly Desired: Experience administering and supporting Ansible Automation Platform for enterprise-wide use.
• Ability to troubleshoot system failures and restore systems to working condition.
• Experience with Centrify and Kerberos for server authentication.
• Experience with Splunk infrastructure administration (indexers, search-heads, forwarders)
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies like Simple Storage Service (S3), and EC2.

Storage Administration:

• Highly Desired: Experience with NetApp storage platform administration
• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting CIFS and NFS shares off of NetApp storage
• Experience with SnapVault and SnapMirror technologies, including configuration and reporting
• Experience maintaining and upgrading NetApp OnTap to newer versions
• Experience with cloud technologies like FSx for NetApp.

• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation to maintain existing operations.
