Our Client is looking for 2nd shift Mechanical Assemblers working 2pm - 10:30pm This is a contract role. $24/hr

Responsibilities

Mechanically assemble large assemblies and subassemblies utilizing power tools, hoists, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other necessary equipment for the assembly process

• Aligns components and assembles together with bolts, screws, AVK’s, or rivets and power tools
• Maintain and develop technical information, work instructions, and standard work to document and improve the assembly process
• Utilize production equipment including, but not limited to powered hand tools, drill presses, tapping equipment, grinders, punch presses, riveting equipment, and other equipment as specified

Skills

(1) to (3) years’ experience with manufacturing assembly and a strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read blueprints, technical specifications, and work instructions
• Proficient with powered hand tools
• Ability to read a tape measure

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work with and lift 35 lbs. throughout the work shift

• Must be able to work at heights (with PPE), in tight spaces, and at levels below the knee throughout the work shift

Education

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
