A Manufacturing Company in Aurora, IL is seeking Insulation Cutter Operators to join their team!!
1st Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm
3rd Shift: Monday to Friday 10:00pm - 6:30am
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00
The target of the position is the operation of an insulation cutter and support the production team by following proper safety procedures, and the proper use of equipment and tools used in the cutting of thermal needle mat parts process. Produce a variety of parts, all of which must meet dimensional specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut insulation materials to proper specifications while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high degree of attention to detail.
- Measure molds and make patterns for cutting.
- Must be able to work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications.
- Organize work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Inspect all manufactured parts following work in process inspection methods.
- Report equipment and all machine malfunctions to Management.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualification Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience with power tools preferred.
- Ability to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
- Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements.
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
