Description:

Senior Data Analyst / Data Analyst role within the ISG Research is expected work on various data management tasks. The Analyst is expected to collaborate with multiple internal and client stakeholders, help manage data products across data quality, new insights, client enablement, and platform management.

The candidate is expected to have exposure to ITO or BPO industry, exceptional organizational skills, English writing and speaking skills, strong data analysis, analytical skills, and strong secondary research know-how. Must have proficiency in python for data asset development, data quality improvement, data analysis, and integrating with artificial intelligence models.

Responsibilities:

• Execute customized data runs from ISG’s proprietary databases to address specific internal & external client requirements
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders globally in streamlining the data collection and management processes
• Work on building a referenceable database using a standard template. Thoroughly understand the contracts given in the IT services domain and populate the database with the data points available in the contracts.
• Thoroughly understand the underlying data, business implications and usage of data for research and consulting deliverables
• Assist and develop excel models and frameworks
• Ability and desire to meet the deadlines and deliver results with minimum supervision
• Time management and the ability to handle multiple projects with aggressive deadlines

Technical Skills Required:

• Four years of relevant experience with focus on data analysis and research preferably focused in IT and BPO domain
• Comfortable with analyzing large data sets
• Advanced MS-Excel skills including but not limited to pivots, power pivot, power query, dashboards, and advanced Excel formulas is must
• Understanding of disciplined approach towards Data Visualization and Reporting with Excel and Power BI is must. Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Hands-on web data scraping experience by using BeautifulSoup/Soupy in Python Environment is preferred
• Ability to locate and procure information from unstructured documents
• Ability to extract meaningful information and formulate a point of view based on extracted data, analyzing available data and filling gaps using appropriate statistical methods
• Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Skilled at working both independently and in a team environment
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, collaborating with both US and European region
