Akkodis is seeking a Data Architect for a Contract with a client in San Francisco, CA. Candidate must have deep expertise in architecting scalable data solutions in Palantir Foundry to be considered for this role.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $79/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Architect job responsibilities include:

• Architect scalable data platforms and workflows in Palantir Foundry to support operational, analytical, and regulatory use cases.
• Design and implement real‑time and batch data ingestion pipelines integrating SCADA, AMI, GIS, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop custom applications, transformations, and integrations using Foundry APIs, frameworks, Python, and SQL.
• Establish strong data governance, security controls, and compliance frameworks aligned with NERC, FERC, GDPR, and internal standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Optimize high‑volume IoT and sensor data pipelines, ensuring reliability, low latency, and high system performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years working specifically with Palantir Foundry.
• Proven hands‑on expertise in Palantir Foundry architecture, data modeling, integration development, and pipeline design.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and distributed data systems, with experience implementing governance and compliance frameworks.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $79.00 per hour
