Job Title: Information Security Engineer – Virtual Directory / IAM

Job Description
We are seeking an Information Security Engineer III with strong experience in Virtual Directory and Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies. This role will support the design, implementation, and enhancement of virtual directory solutions while working closely with internal customers in an Agile environment.
The engineer will be responsible for supporting identity data aggregation and access solutions, responding to customer requests, and maintaining high service levels across operational and project-based work.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact directly with internal customers to gather requirements and support identity-related requests
- Design, implement, and enhance virtual directory solutions, including caching and proxying identity data from multiple sources
- Support and administer RadiantLogic Virtual Directory Server (VDS) and Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) environments
- Participate in directory and data center migration initiatives
- Respond to ServiceNow incidents, emails, instant messages, phone calls, and troubleshooting sessions
- Monitor system alerts and take appropriate action
- Handle new customer intake and onboarding activities
- Update, validate, and maintain technical and operational documentation
- Collaborate with Agile team members to deliver identity and access management enhancements
- Perform ad hoc operational and engineering tasks as required
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent
- Strong understanding of LDAP concepts and Identity & Access Management (IAM) fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Virtual Directory technologies, such as:
- RadiantLogic VDS
- Oracle Unified Directory
- PingDirectory / PingFederate or similar products
- Experience supporting identity platforms in enterprise environments
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile delivery model
- Strong customer interaction and communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (views, joins, lookups)
- Familiarity with ETL concepts and data aggregation
- Understanding of access control models such as RBAC, ABAC, or PBAC
- Exposure to SIEM tools (helpful for understanding data aggregation and monitoring, but not required)
- Experience supporting large-scale identity environments
