Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and leadership-oriented individual to join our team as a Test Technician in Annapolis, MD. As a vital part of our team, you will play a key role in setting up, running, and troubleshooting test sets for a variety of programs.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, run, and troubleshoot test sets down to the component level for a wide range of programs.
- Support technicians through troubleshooting hardware and test sets.
- Mentor and train new and experienced technicians on newer test sets.
- Gather and analyze test data to identify early trends.
- Support program meetings to develop root cause and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Test Engineering to develop and implement hardware and test system improvements and solutions.
- Assist engineering in creating designs and developing circuits, processes, and operations to ensure proper function of products and test equipment per design specifications.
- Develop, construct, and support the testing of highly complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems.
- Perform repairs and calibrations as necessary.
- Conduct initial procedural tests on new or modified equipment and make necessary modifications or calibrations.
- Assist Test Engineering in the development of processes, test procedures, and revision notices.
- Perform integration testing of software and hardware.
- Adhere to established procedures and practices to ensure compliance.
Essential Skills:
- Active DoD clearance, US citizenship required.
- High school graduate or recognized equivalent (GED).
- Graduate of a two-year full-time technical school in electronic technology, or six months of military electronic school/training plus two years of military experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic systems.
- Experience using MS Office tools.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as an electronics technician or equivalent.
- Ability and experience troubleshooting down to the component level.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience testing RF circuitry and troubleshooting to the component level by following schematics is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and operate test equipment.
- Experience in test tool development.
- Experience in test procedure development.
- Experience with LabView software.
- Experience training and mentoring other personnel.
Work Environment:
- This position is located in a cleared facility in Annapolis, MD, working with a team of 21 Electro-Mechanical Technicians specializing in Assembly and Test.
- The role requires at least a Secret Clearance (or eligibility) and may involve flexible hours, including the possibility of a 2nd shift and overtime.
- The facility is renowned for its cutting-edge technology in the DOD world, specializing in Unmanned Underwater Vehicles, Sonar, Towed Arrays, Torpedoes, and Torpedo Warning Systems.

This is a Permanent position based out of Annapolis, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
