What You’ll Do
- Operate Omnicell automation systems at customer sites following SOPs and best practices.
- Manage inventory levels and perform restocking duties.
- Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of XR2 equipment.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a liaison between Omnicell and the customer.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- an Active Ohio State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration.
- An Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA CPht / ExCPT).
- Working knowledge of pharmacy automation.
- COV19 Vaccination (strongly preferred)
Preferred:
- Accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program completion.
- 2+ years of hospital pharmacy automation experience.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with automation devices.
Work Conditions
- The PRN is an On Call position to locally support / serve as back up for Call Ins/Sick Calls, Vacations, LOAs, etc. for our Lima OH site.
- Must be able to commute to work at this site: 730 W Market St, Lima, OH 45801
- Shift: M – F, 6 am to 2:30 pm
- Possess flexible availabilities (i.e., PRN match well if you are able to support shift listed when On Call, or, currently working 7 on 7 off, PRN status, Part-Timer, etc.)
- Hospital Pharmacy Environment
- Ability to travel for training.
- Pharmacy environment; 8–10-hour shifts.
- Flexible hours based on business needs.
- Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Potential exposure to hazardous drugs.
