Job Description

The General Manager has end-to-end responsibility for the overall performance of Genera Pacific, including commercial leadership, operational oversight and strategic growth. The role carries full P&L accountability and regular engagement with the Board.

This appointment suits a highly experienced General Manager with a strong background in sales-led growth, financial management and people leadership. While exposure to regulated or service-based industries is beneficial, technical expertise in pest control or fumigation is not required, as specialist operational capability exists within the business. The focus is on commercial execution, leadership and scale.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy to achieve revenue, margin and market share targets
  • Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting and financial performance
  • Lead, coach and mentor sales and business development teams to drive high performance
  • Establish clear KPIs, sales targets and performance reporting frameworks
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships and growth channels
  • Strengthen customer relationships and ensure a strong customer-focused culture
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all operations
  • Contribute to Board reporting and executive-level decision-making
  • Lead organisational development including hiring, performance management and capability building
  • Build and maintain a high-performing, engaged and accountable team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in a relevant field
  • Senior leadership experience in general management, commercial or sales-led roles
  • Proven track record delivering revenue growth and managing profitability
  • Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of sales pipelines and performance metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic capability
