Your Key Responsibilities

As a Student Assistant in our QC Department, you will be responsible for managing multiple tasks related to supporting our QC teams, scanning and archiving GMP documents, freezer inventory, and other ad hoc tasks. Furthermore, you will get great insight into the biopharmaceutical industry. The QC Department has a positive and proactive profile that is committed, professional, and with friendly collaboration. Within our QC area, we have a broad range of compliance-related responsibilities, and the 3 new Student Assistants will be assigned primarily to one of the below responsibilities, while continuously supporting with ad hoc tasks as well:

  • Support the QC Microbiology department
  • Support the QC Sample and service team
  • Scanning and archiving GMP documents

About You

It is a requirement that you are currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree, and preferably within a relevant study like Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or similar. Further, it is an advantage if you are in the early semesters of your Bachelor degree, preferably on your 2nd semester, which will allow you to learn and develop within AGC Biologics and QC on a long-term basis.

You are expected to work 1-2 days a week, and thus balance your working hours in a fast-paced organization on top of your studies and exams. In time and when you are confident in your role, we allow for more flexibility with the expectation that you can manage it professionally. Also, it is a great advantage if you can navigate the MS Office programs.

On the more personal side, you recognize yourself as service-minded, easy-going, detail-oriented colleague with a positive, can-do attitude towards new tasks and challenges.
