Housekeeper Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and organization in a private home. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, respects privacy, and can manage household cleaning tasks efficiently and independently.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish surfaces
- Wash, fold, and organize laundry; change bed linens as needed
- Organize closets, cabinets, and storage areas
- Take out trash and recycling
- Restock household supplies and report low inventory
- Follow household cleaning preferences and schedules
- Handle cleaning equipment and products safely
- Maintain discretion and respect the household’s privacy
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or residential cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks (standing, bending, lifting)
- Trustworthy, punctual, and professional
- References required
- Must be able to pass a background check
