Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Systems Analyst to support and enhance Gates Hudson’s HR technology platforms, with primary responsibility for UKG (UltiPro/Kronos) and a supporting role in Greenhouse. This role is essential to supporting a geographically distributed workforce across our property management and corporate teams, ensuring accurate employee data, reliable time and attendance tracking, and effective hiring and onboarding workflows. The HRIS Systems Analyst will partner closely with HR, Finance, IT, and operational leaders to ensure systems are configured to support business needs, compliance requirements, and scalable growth.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Administration & Support

  • Serve as the day-to-day administrator for UKG HRIS modules, including user access, security roles, data configurations, and business processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with vendor support or technical teams to resolve problems quickly and accurately.
  • Configure system changes to support enhancements, new workflows, and evolving HR programs based on stakeholder requirements.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain HR data integrity across systems through regular audits, validating imports, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
  • Design, build, and deliver standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for HR operations, payroll, talent acquisition, and leadership.
  • Help migrate and integrate data between UKG, Greenhouse, and other HR systems, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.

Project Participation

  • Collaborate on HR technology enhancements, system upgrades, testing, and rollouts.
  • Document processes, maintain system documentation, and assist in training HR and end users on system capabilities and changes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with HR Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and IT teams to align HRIS functionality with business needs and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for HRIS best practices, integration needs, and governance processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3–5 years of hands-on HRIS experience, including system administration, configuration, reporting, and support.
  • Experience with UKG HRIS (UltiPro/Kronos) as an HRIS administrator or analyst.
  • Strong SQL proficiency or comfort working with HRIS reporting tools and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation).
  • Solid understanding of HR business processes (employee lifecycle, payroll feeds, reporting compliance, security roles).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with business and technical partners.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.

Preferred

  • Experience with Greenhouse (or other ATS) configuration, reporting, and integrations.
  • Prior involvement in HRIS upgrades, releases, or cross-system integrations.
  • Familiarity with system testing, training deliverables, and documentation best practices.
  • HR or technical certification (e.g., HRIP, SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus.
