We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to support the development of control functions and parameters for eDrive and AWD systems. This role is perfect for someone passionate about engineering innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate engineering solutions through feasibility testing and implementation.
• Draft and evaluate engineering standards and specifications.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and support solution development.
• Design test procedures based on product specifications.
• Participate in ongoing training and capability development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
• Manage requirements traceability and verification throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering systems or controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance.
• Familiarity with engineering development tools, testing protocols, and specification writing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and automation.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, robotics, and controls engineering.
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Experience with electrical engineering and HMI systems.

Work Environment

The work environment involves spending over 50% of time on the floor, engaging in hands-on activities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mebane, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
