Material Handler – 1st Shift
Location: Channahon, IL Pay: $18/hr Assignment Length: Through 7/1/26 Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mandatory 10‑hour shifts) Mid‑February: Transition to 12‑hour shifts Hiring Process: No interview required
Position Overview
A well‑established company in Channahon is seeking dependable Material Handlers to join their 1st‑shift production team. This is a long‑term opportunity with consistent hours, mandatory overtime, and fast placement.
Job Duties
- Work on a small production line
- Inspect product bags for quality
- Pack bags into boxes and tape them securely
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Work inside a facility with heat (can still be cold in winter)
- No AC — hot in summer
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures
- Must pass a 4‑panel drug test (no THC testing)
- Must pass a 7‑year background check
- No violence or theft charges
- Reliable attendance and ability to work mandatory overtime
