Purpose of Role: Weir Marine Engineering is seeking a Naval Systems Specialist or Technologist with current or former experience with naval combat systems to join our Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE) Combat System Material State Validation Team in Halifax, NS. This role will support DND and Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) stakeholders with the independent verification & validation (IV&V) of the material state of various naval combat systems and related support equipment. This is a full-time and permanent position with a requirement to regularly work in-office and frequently onboard RCN ships with occasional flexibility for hybrid work.
