Position Summary
The School of Business invites applications for a full time, 10-month visiting lecturer position in Business Law for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will have a teaching load of four courses (12 semester hours) per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. These courses will include, but are not limited to, commercial law, employment law, and business ethics.
One of eight campuses of Indiana University, Indiana University Kokomo, is a comprehensive non-residential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana, a city with a population of about 60,000. Committed to student success, the campus serves approximately 3,000 students from a 14-county area in north-central Indiana. IU Kokomo has around 260 full-time faculty and staff. Basic Qualifications
The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate, a PhD in Business Law (including ABD), OR a master’s degree in a business-related field with 30 hours of law school credits. Strong preference will be given to candidates also holding a master’s degree in a business-related field, a record of excellent teaching, and a commitment to student learning. Preference will be given to candidates with professional work experience.
