About the Role** As Sales Operations Associate in our Commercial Performance team you are the architect of the sales organization’s success. You will be responsible for ensuring that our commercial teams are set up to win before the quarter even begins. Your mandate is to align high-level company financial goals with actionable, fair, and motivating targets for the front line. In this role, you will own the technical and operational execution of Commercial Planning, Quota Setting, and Headcount Capacity planning. You will act as a strategic advisor to Sales Leadership, using data to show where opportunities lie and how we should deploy our resources to capture them. **What you'll do** - **Quota Setting Methodology:** Design and execute the bottom-up quota setting process. You will model seasonality, ramp profiles, and historical performance to set targets that are challenging yet achievable. - **Capacity & Headcount Planning:** Partner with Finance and HR to track sales capacity. You will model the impact of hiring waves, attrition, and ramp time on our ability to hit the global revenue plan. - **Forecasting & Trend Analysis:** Build predictive models to stress-test our planning assumptions. You will analyze variance between "Plan vs. Actuals" to refine future quota methodologies. - **Planning Cycle Execution:** Manage the operational timeline of the monthly/quarterly planning cycle, ensuring all systems (CRM, Planning Tools) are updated with new targets and territory assignments on time. - **Stakeholder Management:** Partner with EMEA Edge sub regional operations teams to execute on planning and quota setting timeline. Partner with Finance and S&P to tie commercial plan and regional strategy together. **What you'll need** - **Experience:** 2-3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or Strategy, with a specific focus on Sales Planning, Territory Management, or Revenue Operations. - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. - **Technical Proficiency:****Advanced SQL** required. You must be able to pull your own data to audit territories and performance. - **Modeling:** Expert-level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. - **CRM & Planning Tools:** Experience with Salesforce is a strong plus. - **Business Acumen:** Deep understanding of B2B sales metrics (Sales Velocity, Coverage Ratios, Participation Rates). **Preferred Qualifications** - **Analytical Capability & Data Fluency:** You are an expert in manipulating large datasets. You can build sophisticated models in Excel/Google Sheets that handle multiple variables (ramp, seasonality, churn) and use SQL to query data independently. - **Operational Excellence:** You are rigorous about process. You understand that "late targets" means "demotivated reps," and you manage your timeline with precision. - **Strategic Thinking:** You understand the trade-offs in sales planning (e.g., coverage vs. focus). You can recommend changes to territory definitions based on strategic shifts (e.g., a push for Enterprise vs. SMB). - **Communication & Influence:** You can explain the "math behind the number." You are comfortable presenting territory changes to Sales Directors and handling pushback with data-driven objectivity. - **Problem Solving:** You can identify structural imbalances (e.g. "This region has too many reps for the TAM") and propose structural solutions.
