Job Overview

We’re looking for an impassioned Senior Project Manager to join our growing Experiential Ops & Production Team, based out of our Oakville warehouse location. In this role, you’ll be working in lockstep with the Associate Vice President, Experiential Ops & Production in a leadership and supporting role. Day to day, you will collaborate across budgeting, administration, logistics, operations, warehousing, client servicing, onsite event oversight and delivery, and more. This is a hands-on role that requires leadership, dedication, energy and a passion for excellence in all you do.

What You’ll Do

The successful candidate will have proven operations, logistics and production related skills within a professional agency, property and/or brand environment. Sr. Project Managers play a key role in the delivery of our client accounts and events. This role is extremely busy, fast-paced, exciting and a diverse service offering with in the Wasserman suite of services we provide.

You'll be working as part of an experienced and dynamic team, primarily focusing on the successful management and operational delivery of Experiential marketing programs, and extensive signage and branding related projects. You will work across the entire life cycle of prominent projects from start to finish. Project planning is central to what we do, and you'll be leading on client and stakeholder management, budgeting, feasibility reviews and implementation, problem solving and risk mitigation, as well as on-site crew management and stakeholder liaison.

This role will include tasks and responsibilities such as:

  • Senior oversight and day-to-day budget management, working closely with the Associate Vice President to monitor, control and accurately price projects
  • Detailed advance planning and management of complex logistical requirements
  • Building strong, trusted and long-lasting relationships, providing strategic advice to clients that lead to the growth of our business
  • Creative thinking and solution orientated approaches to Experiential program asset development, signage and branding deliverables
  • Provide line management, direction and support when and where required within the integrated team, ensuring all client and Wasserman requirements are met to the highest standards and team members are supported and developed.
  • Lead by example and ensure knowledge sharing within the team and wider business
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are at the forefront of every engagement you have – both internally and external, across all stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
  • Lead the adherence and evolution of internal policies and procedures such as: health & safety and sustainability, ensuring all are up to date with in-market compliance
  • Support the warehouse operations, including supporting the warehouse manager, ensuring space maximization, organization of assets, material handling and overall operational excellence

  • Strong project management experience across operational planning and delivery, with the expectation of encountering challenging timeframes
  • Exceptional relationship management and diplomacy, including negotiating with and influencing decision making
  • Ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and leveraging resources where required, while ensuring continuous attention-to-detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, ensuring project systems and procedures are set-up and structured correctly
  • You love to think on your feet, evaluate risks and take decision to resolve issues, demonstrating problem solving skills
  • Confidence in taking the financial lead on projects and client accounts, managing budgets and cost control
  • You have entrepreneurial spirit and drive, while harnessing an analytical, strategic, and creatively inquisitive growth mindset
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude always, coupled with an enthusiasm to succeed and approachable attitude
