Position Information

Description & Details: The Office of Admission is seeking an organized, energetic, creative and collaborative team member to assist in planning and implementing recruitment activities for first-year students. Primary responsibilities include developing and managing recruitment programs, conducting campus visit presentations with prospective students and their family members, and overseeing the eastern North Dakota recruitment territory that encompasses college fairs and high school visits.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM-4:45PM, 7:30AM-4PM during breaks and summer), and willingness to work up to four Saturdays per academic year for campus visit events

Hiring Range: $45,000 - $46,000

Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Completed Bachelor’s degree

Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and overnight travel

Exceptional written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills

Strong customer service experience/skills

Demonstrated experience establishing rapport and building relationships

Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in the student body

Innovative, energetic, and committed to working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with high school students or at an accredited college or university

Bachelor's degree from NDSU OR Strong familiarity w/NDSU programs

Experience presenting to large audiences in professional or persuasive settings
