Job Description:

We are a concrete company located in Palmview, TX seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have payroll experience and be comfortable working with hourly employees in a construction environment. Experience with Paylocity is preferred, but candidates with experience using Paycom, ADP, UKG, or similar payroll systems are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Review and verify employee timecards, hours worked, and overtime
• Enter payroll data and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues
• Coordinate payroll changes for new hires, terminations, and pay updates
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information

Qualifications:

• Previous payroll experience required
• Paylocity experience preferred (other payroll systems accepted)
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Basic knowledge of payroll and overtime rules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software
• Ability to meet payroll deadlines

Compensation:

• Starting pay: $15.00/hour
