As part of our Engineering team, as a Test Engineer at Safran Landing Systems, you will play a key role in the setup, execution, and support of landing gear test activities. Your focus will be on configuring and maintaining the control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition setups required for structural, performance, and environmental testing. These tests are required for research and development, qualification, production and in-service support.
You'll have opportunities to learn and progress, with investment being made on site it's an exciting time to join our growing local team.

What will I be doing?
Configuration of electro-hydraulic servo control test systems.
Configuration of instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
Configuration of optical measurement and 3D scanning equipment.
Selection, integration and calibration of transducers.
Design and build of bespoke control systems using hydraulics, pneumatics, electric drives, PLC and HMI.
Development of test methodologies to meet customer needs, improve test capability and efficiency.
Technical liaison with customers and suppliers.
