We're seeking an experienced UI/UX Engineer, who will be responsible for designing and developing reusable UI components and templates using Figma. They will work closely with the design and engineering teams to create seamless user experiences across our products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable UI components and templates using Figma.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure design consistency and feasibility.
• Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across products.
• Create prototypes to test and validate design concepts.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on design solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design and engineering.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with designing and developing reusable UI components and templates.
• Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio that shows your design and engineering skills.
• Must have completed the compulsory 1-year NYSC or have an exemption certificate.
• A valid and up to date National Identity Card/NIMC slip is required upon commencement of this role.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of design systems and accessibility guidelines.
• Experience with usability testing and user research methods.
