The Development Program provides in excess of $50 million in private support annually toward the mission of The Rockefeller University,which is to improve the understanding of life for the benefit of humanity. Working with the Board of Trustees and volunteer groups,including The Rockefeller University Council,the Committee on Trust and Estate Plans,and the Women and Science and Parents and Science Initiatives,the Development Office oversees all private fund-raising at the University,including annual,capital,and endowment campaigns.
The Development Assistant (DA) will provide key staff support for donor relations with university benefactors, including, but not limited to, supporters of the Women & Science initiative (W&S). Reporting to the Senior Director of Women & Science, and as part of a four-person team, the Development Assistant will assist in all aspects of the giving program, including the annual Spring Lecture and Luncheon fundraiser and other high-profile cultivation, recognition, and outreach events. Additionally, the Development Assistant will frequently collaborate with other groups in the office.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on various factors, including but not limited to organizational budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range provided represents The Rockefeller University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
