Reporting to the Chief of Institutional Advancement, the Vice President of Marketing and Communications provides leadership, strategic direction and operational oversight for all marketing and communications functions at The Centers. The Vice President is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of The Centers’ internal and external branding initiatives (advertising, web, social media, marketing collateral, event and media strategies) which are aligned with The Centers’ business strategies. In conjunction with the Chief of Institutional Advancement, the Vice President, will plan, lead, and manage all aspects marketing and communication operations, including budgets, personnel, and purchased services. S/he will develop a marketing and communications plan for The Centers and directly manage activities that promote, enhance, and protect the organization’s brand reputation.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. It requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Travel and work outside of normal hours may be required for meetings, presentations, trainings and other events.
