About the Role:

The Risk Management Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the financial health and operational success of the organization. This position involves analyzing data from various sources to evaluate potential risks and developing strategies to minimize their impact. The analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure risk management practices are integrated into business processes and decision-making. By continuously monitoring risk indicators and regulatory changes, the analyst helps maintain compliance and supports the organization's long-term stability. Ultimately, this role ensures that the company is well-prepared to handle uncertainties and capitalize on opportunities with informed risk awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze AI agent outputs and apply probability models to assess operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
  • Translate predictive analytics and metrics into actionable feedback, generating leading indicators and early warnings for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and proactively address vulnerabilities in AI-driven processes.
  • Support ongoing risk governance, including model validation, performance monitoring, data drift detection, and incident response for AI-generated results.
  • Ensure AI systems are compliant with internal and external standards, including data privacy, fairness, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare clear reports and visualizations that communicate analysis findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Lead development of dashboards and automated alerts for continuous risk monitoring.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of probability theory, statistical analysis, and risk quantification.
  • Proficiency in machine learning concepts and practical tools (Python, SQL, interpretability libraries like SHAP/LIME).
  • Ability to identify model limitations, potential failure modes, bias, and ethical risks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills for cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 23894), and regulatory landscapes.
  • Capable of building predictive models, creating risk dashboards, and automating reporting workflows.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in risk analysis, quantitative modeling, or AI/ML implementation within regulated, high-stakes industries.
  • Demonstrated background in risk assessment methodologies, AI model validation, or data analytics.

Must be available for up to 5% travel.
